She currently resides in northern Delaware and works as a Lead Nurse Practitioner in Cardiology in the inpatient setting. She obtained her Masters degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her post-Masters certification and doctorate from Wilmington University. She is dual certified as an AGACNP and a FNP, and obtained her DNP in 2020. She is also active as the President of the Omicron Gamma chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International at Wilmington University. She has been on mission trips to Ecuador and the Dominican Republic and has a passion for helping those that are underserved or homeless.
Shelia Talbott, DNP, FNP-C

Shelia is an alumni of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA completing her BSN, MSN and DNP degrees at the university. She currently works at a Family Practice FQHC in Farmville, VA that focuses on OB/GYN care for underserved communities. She has been a member of CMDA since 2016. In her free time, she helps coordinate medical mission trips to Honduras and Haiti with her church. She and her husband live in an 18th century Virginia farmhouse that they have been restoring in the river community of Scottsville, VA.

She has been to Haiti several times (and Nicaragua once) with Global Health Outreach and is the assistant team leader for the annual GHO trip to Honduras. She especially enjoys caring for pediatric patients and precepting nurse practitioner students. Natalie lives in Atlanta with her handsome husband Arif Ali, a radiation oncologist who is also a long-time member of CMDA, and their friendly yellow lab, Trigg. Natalie likes to cook and used to host CMDA Bible studies and dinner in her home, but currently the meetings are virtual.
